Caring for adherence with oral care to prevent oral mucositis in patients that conduct chemotherapy

Background: Various attempts in the field of nursing have been made to address health response due cancer. Giving chemotherapy causes various side effects. Oral mucositis is one effects chemotherapy. Adherence oral care patients needed increase adequacy nutritional intake so that do not occur. The study was see how careful prevent undergoing chemotherapy.Methods: method used a case with sampling criteria and data collection by in-depth interviews.Results: themes found after theme analysis were 3 influenced patient carrying out mucositis, namely: 1) 2) Family compliance providing support 3) ways improve motivation reduce effects.Conclusions: Nursing intervention knowledge, family support, efforts overcome problems.
